  • Arteriovenous Malformations (AVMs): Surgical resection or embolization of abnormal blood vessel tangles in the brain or spinal cord. 
  • Carotid Artery Disease: Carotid endarterectomy or stenting to prevent stroke. 
  • Moyamoya Disease: Surgical revascularization procedures to improve blood flow to the brain. 
  • Surgical placement of shunts (ventriculoperitoneal, ventriculoatrial) to drain excess cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) from the brain.    
  • Endoscopic third ventriculostomy (ETV) as an alternative treatment in select cases. 
  • Management of skull fractures, intracranial hemorrhage (epidural, subdural, intracerebral) & diffuse brain injury.    
  • Surgical evacuation of hematomas & placement of intracranial pressure (ICP) monitors.
