At Mouwasat Hospital, our Pediatric Oncology Department provides comprehensive, compassionate & state-of-the-art care for infants, children, adolescents & young adults diagnosed with cancer & blood disorders. Our multidisciplinary team of highly specialized pediatric oncologists, hematologists, nurses, surgeons, psychologists, social workers & support staff works collaboratively to deliver individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each child & their family. 

We understand the challenges faced by children & families affected by cancer, & we are committed to providing a supportive & nurturing environment throughout their journey, from diagnosis to survivorship. Our department manages a wide range of pediatric oncological & hematological cases, including:
  • Leukemias: Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) & other less common leukemias. 
  • Lymphomas: Hodgkin Lymphoma & Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. 
  • Brain Tumors: Medulloblastoma, Gliomas (astrocytomas, ependymomas), Craniopharyngioma & other central nervous system tumors.

  • Histiocytosis: A group of rare disorders characterized by an overproduction of histiocytes.
