  • Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD): Narrowing or blockage of arteries in the legs & feet, leading to pain, cramping & potential limb loss. 
    • Diagnosis with non-invasive vascular studies (ABI, Doppler ultrasound).
    • Medical management, including lifestyle modifications & medications.   
    • Minimally invasive endovascular procedures (angioplasty, stenting).   
    • Open surgical bypass procedures.    
  • Carotid Artery Disease: Narrowing or blockage of arteries in the neck, increasing the risk of stroke.  
    • Diagnosis with carotid ultrasound, CT angiography (CTA) & MR angiography (MRA). 
    • Medical management & antiplatelet therapy. 
    • Carotid endarterectomy (surgical removal of plaque).    
    • Carotid artery stenting. 
  • Aortic Aneurysms: Weakening & bulging of the aorta (the body's main artery) in the abdomen or chest.  
    • Diagnosis with ultrasound, CT scan & MRI. 
    • Endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR & TEVAR).    
    • Open surgical aneurysm repair. 
  • Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS): Compression of nerves and/or blood vessels in the space between the collarbone & first rib.  
    • Diagnosis with physical examination & imaging studies. 
    • Medical management & physical therapy. 
    • Surgical decompression. 
  • Renal Artery Stenosis: Narrowing of the arteries supplying blood to the kidneys, potentially causing high blood pressure & kidney problems.  
    • Diagnosis with renal Doppler ultrasound, CTA & MRA. 
    • Medical management. 
    • Renal artery angioplasty & stenting.    
  • Mesenteric Ischemia: Reduced blood flow to the intestines, causing abdominal pain & potential bowel damage.  
    • Diagnosis with angiography & CT scan. 
    • Medical management & surgical revascularization. 
  • Vasculitis: Inflammation of blood vessels.  
    • Diagnosis with blood tests & imaging. 
    • Medical management with immunosuppressants. 
  • Varicose Veins: Enlarged, twisted veins, usually in the legs.  
    • Diagnosis with physical examination & venous ultrasound. 
    • Conservative management (compression stockings). 
    • Minimally invasive treatments (sclerotherapy, endovenous laser ablation (EVLA), radiofrequency ablation (RFA), phlebectomy). 
  • Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT): Blood clot in a deep vein, usually in the legs, which can lead to pulmonary embolism.  
    • Diagnosis with venous ultrasound. 
    • Anticoagulation therapy. 
    • Thrombolysis (clot-dissolving treatment) in selected cases. 
    • IVC filter placement to prevent pulmonary embolism.  
  • Superficial Thrombophlebitis: Blood clot in a superficial vein, causing pain & redness.  
    • Diagnosis with physical examination & ultrasound. 
    • Medical management with pain relievers & compression. 
  • Lymphedema: Swelling caused by a blockage in the lymphatic system.  
    • Diagnosis with physical examination & imaging studies. 
    • Conservative management (compression therapy, manual lymphatic drainage).    
    • Surgical treatment in selected cases. 
  • Creation & maintenance of vascular access for hemodialysis patients (fistulas, grafts, catheters).
