Dr. Mohammed Jalouli – Consultant Pediatric Surgeon – in collaboration with Dr. Ihab Zreiqat – Consultant Pediatric Gastroenterologist – published a rare case of a child, approximately two years old, who was found to have two magnetic objects, one in the esophagus and one in the trachea. The foreign bodies were successfully removed in a single session using a flexible endoscope, which spared the child dangerous complications such as a tracheoesophageal fistula.
