Overview
Dr. Ahmed Nabil – Consultant Ophthalmologist at Mouwasat Hospital – published a scientific paper aiming to evaluate the effectiveness of the modified "Anterior Lamellar Recession" technique in treating different grades of upper eyelid entropion caused by trachoma. The modified technique showed positive results in correcting upper eyelid entropion of various grades. A significant improvement in clinical symptoms and a reduction in post-operative scarring were observed.
