Dr. Ahmed Shon – Consultant of Dental Prosthetics at Mouwasat Hospital – published a scientific paper aiming to evaluate and compare the perceived chewing ability in edentulous patients treated with conventional acrylic dentures versus single-implant-supported mandibular overdentures. They found an improvement in chewing ability among patients with single-implant-supported dentures.
