Dr. Salman Wannas – Consultant Pediatric Endocrinologist – published a scientific paper in collaboration with several researchers at Mouwasat Hospital. The research aims to evaluate the efficacy and safety of two different insulin pump technologies (MiniMed 780G & MiniMed 640G) for glucose control during Ramadan fasting in patients with Type 1 Diabetes. The advanced system (MiniMed 780G) demonstrated a significant improvement in glucose control, with an increase in Time In Range and a reduction in hypoglycemic episodes.
